Men can browse women’s profiles for free, but they need credits to send or open a letter, chat live, watch a webcam, or arrange a translated phone call.

Women use the site free of charge. The FAQ states this plainly, and it is the reason the database is almost entirely female and the paying side is almost entirely male.

Who Runs AsianSingles2Day

The terms of use name two companies: May Group Solutions LP, registration LP2995, at 6 Fern Road, Sandyford, Dublin, and BHI Evoline Ltd, registration HE351975, in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The Cypriot company checks out. BHI Evoline Ltd appears on the Cyprus register as having been incorporated on February 4, 2016, and it is still active. However, the Dublin partnership is harder to confirm from outside the Irish register. The Nicosia address listed in the terms also doesn’t match the address currently filed in Cyprus, although that could simply mean the terms haven’t been updated after a move.

The clause worth reading twice is the governing law. The agreement applies Cypriot law and requires customers to resolve disputes in the Cyprus courts. As a result, a customer in Ohio or Manchester would have no realistic route to a small claim.

The Network Behind the Site

AsianSingles2Day is one of four dating brands promoted through the Affiliate2Day programme, alongside BeHappy2Day, OneWife, and AllTverLadies. The brands also share a content delivery network and a basic interface.

That matters because there’s a sentence buried in the disclaimers that says the company “purchases services from various Russian and Ukrainian agencies/suppliers” to provide the service.

On a platform that sells introductions to women in Chengdu and Nanning, the wording looks as though it may have been carried over from a service originally built for the Slavic market and later adapted for Asia. The company doesn’t explain the phrase anywhere on the site, so the clause itself is all we have to go on.

What Registration Gets You Free

Registration takes about a minute and doesn’t ask for any payment details. Once you’re in, you can browse the full catalogue, use the search filters, view profile photos, and read the news feed of newly added women.

You can’t send anything—not a message, a wink, or even a photo. The free tier is basically a shop window. To its credit, the platform makes that clear instead of giving you a fake trial.

The search filters are detailed, but they only work one way. Every field is labeled ‘Lady’s country,’ ‘Lady’s residence,’ or ‘Lady’s ID,’ with filters for things like height and weight. There’s no equivalent search for women to browse or filter the men on the site.

How Much AsianSingles2Day Costs

To be fair, the price per credit drops as you buy bigger packs. Twenty credits cost $0.87 each, while 1,000 credits cost $0.44 each, which is 49% less.

However, getting the lowest price means spending $438 upfront, and those credits expire 365 days after you buy them. That’s the trade-off the pricing table is really asking you to make.

What a Credit Actually Buys

For comparison, the FAQ lists the full pricing breakdown, which is more than most competitors provide. Sending a letter costs 10 credits, and opening a reply from a woman costs another 10. Adding a photo costs 10 credits too. Meanwhile, live chat costs 1 credit per minute, live video chat costs 2, and two-way video, where she can see you too, costs 5.

Opening a photo she sends during a live chat costs another 10 credits on top of the per-minute charge. A video clip costs 15 to 35 credits depending on the tier, while a virtual gift costs 15.

In money terms, one letter exchange—one you send and one you open—costs between $8.77 and $17.35, depending on the pack you buy. An hour of regular text chat costs between $26.30 and $52.05. An hour of two-way video, meanwhile, costs between $131.52 and $260.26.

The Trial Offer Is One Conversation

For example, try to start a chat without any credits, and a panel appears offering 20 credits for $3.42 instead of $17.35. At first, an 80% discount looks generous, but the numbers tell a different story.

Twenty credits cover one letter sent and one letter read. They also cover 20 minutes of text chat or 10 minutes of watching a webcam. That’s all the trial gives you. The offer seems mainly designed to get a card on file.

What an Active Month Costs

Here is a month that counts as ordinary use, not heavy use. Ten letters sent and ten read, two hours of live chat, half an hour of video, five photos opened and one virtual gift.

As a result, that comes to 445 credits. The closest pack is 500 credits for $272.98, so you’d spend about $273 for the month and still be 55 credits short of a third hour of chat. The site charges in euros, so the dollar figures here are based on the European Central Bank rate of $1.1567 to the euro and will change as the exchange rate moves.

By comparison, a mainstream dating subscription can cost around $20 to $40 a month, making this roughly ten times more expensive. If you’re talking to two or three women at the same time, as the interface encourages, the cost can add up quickly.

The Phone Price Nobody Reconciled

The Phone Introduction service, where an interpreter joins a call between you and a woman, is listed at two different prices in the same FAQ, and they don’t match.

For example, one answer says it costs $1.99 per minute, with a $50 deposit covering 25 minutes. However, the main price list a few sections later says it costs 8 credits per minute. That works out to $3.51 per minute at the best credit rate and $6.94 at the worst.

That’s a big difference for the same service. Depending on which price applies, you could pay 1.5 to 3 times more. So, ask support to confirm the price in writing before you make a deposit.

How the Communication Actually Works

Nothing you write reaches a woman exactly as you wrote it. Letters go to a translator first, who turns them into Mandarin, and her reply comes back through the same process in English.

On the one hand, the site presents this as a selling point, and for two people who don’t share a language, it can genuinely be useful. However, it also means a third party reads everything either of you writes, including private messages. The terms acknowledge this and ask you to accept it.

Meanwhile, live chat works through a text window with a per-minute meter, so you pay while you type and while you wait for her reply. Slow typing and long pauses therefore cost the same as an active conversation.

In addition, there are three video options. Live Video Chat costs 2 credits a minute and lets you see her camera. Two-Way Live Video Chat costs 5 credits a minute and turns your camera on as well. There’s also a Phone Introduction service where staff arrange a call with an interpreter on the line. You need to give them 48 hours’ notice.

The platform also has several engagement features. A news feed announces new women joining the site, while a “Today’s Mood” widget, “Lucky Mingle” shuffle, and animated virtual gifts cost 15 credits each. None of these features gets you closer to meeting someone; they’re mainly there to give you more reasons to keep coming back.

Who You Will Actually Meet

The platform presents itself as an Asian dating service, and most of the profiles are Chinese.

I went through every profile in three public listings: the online-now page, the newest-profiles page, and the upcoming-birthdays page. That gave me 102 unique women, with no overlap between the lists. Ninety-nine were from China. The other three were from Vietnam, the Philippines, and, oddly, Ukraine.

The ages ranged from 22 to 64, with a median age of 35. That’s a wider and older range than the homepage carousel suggests. Of course, 102 profiles is only a sample, not a full audit, and the site doesn’t publish a total number of profiles that I could compare it with.

The Newest Profiles

The newest-profiles list is the most interesting. Nineteen of the 30 most recently added women were from just two cities, Chongqing and Chengdu. The median age also drops to 27.

Where the Profiles Come From

Interestingly, that kind of concentration in just two cities is unusual. It also matches what the FAQ says elsewhere: each woman is “registered with” a local agency that supplies her identity documents to the platform.

The Photos and Online Count

The photography is studio work, consistently lit and posed. The FAQ confirms why: the company employs photographers alongside its translators and administrators. Nobody is hiding this, but a profile grid of professional portraits can set an expectation that a first video call may not meet.

At the same time, there is one more thing to consider about headcount: the public online-ladies page listed 36 women when I loaded it. However, a screenshot of the same page taken from inside a logged-in account showed two. The readings were taken at different times, so this proves nothing on its own. Still, it is worth watching the online count yourself before you buy credits based on how busy the site looks.

The Rule That Shapes Everything

You are not allowed to swap contact details. The FAQ is explicit: no email addresses, no phone numbers, no social media accounts, no messaging IDs. Try to send any of it in a letter or a chat and the system blocks the text before she sees it.

The single exception is a postal address. You may ask a woman for hers and give her yours, and the FAQ suggests continuing by letter through the mail if you want to leave the platform.

At the same time, the rule also happens to guarantee that no relationship can ever stop generating revenue. Both things are true at once, and how you weigh them decides whether this site is for you.

What Checks Out

First, the domain was registered in February 2013 and has run continuously since. The Cypriot operating company appears on the public register as active. Card payments go through CCBill and Verotel, both of which vet the merchants they process for.

The full price list sits on the public FAQ instead of behind a signup. Unused credits are refundable within 72 hours of a written cancellation request, and gift orders are refundable up to 48 hours before delivery. The platform also acknowledges IMBRA, the US law governing paid introductions to foreign nationals.

What the Verification Claim Covers

According to the FAQ, every woman is checked before her profile goes live, with random video or phone interviews, and a copy of her identity document obtained from the local agency she is registered with. Profiles that pass get a Confirmed Profile badge.

More importantly, read that sentence again for what it concedes. The document comes from the agency, not from her, leaving the platform one step removed from the person whose identity it is confirming.

The badge answers one question, which is whether the woman in the photos exists and looks like her pictures. It says nothing about who is at the keyboard during a chat, and the company writes elsewhere that it cannot foresee the behaviour of any individual member.

What Does Not

After thirteen years of trading, AsianSingles2Day has no Trustpilot reviews at all. Not bad ones. None. For a consumer site of that age operating in English-speaking markets, an empty review page is its own kind of data point.

Meanwhile, independent trust scanners rate the domain poorly, and the affiliate-funded review sites that cover it split between glowing and damning depending on who they are paid by. I would treat both extremes with suspicion.

The site’s own Anti-Scam Policy, which the FAQ names three separate times as the reason to trust profile verification, sits behind the login wall. I could not read it without an account, which is an odd place to put the document meant to reassure people who do not have one yet.

The Complaint Window Problem

In addition, Section 6 of the FAQ lists nine categories of complaint the company will not consider. The time limits are short and they are shortest where the money is largest.

Notably, live video chat is the second most expensive service on the platform and carries the shortest window. If you spend three weeks realising a video session was not what it appeared to be, you are two weeks too late to say so.

Complaints about anything that happened during an in-person meeting are excluded entirely, as is anything that took place outside the site’s own services.

There is a genuine user for this platform: a man in his fifties or sixties who wants to correspond with Chinese women, has no other way to meet them, cannot read or speak Mandarin, and treats the monthly spend like a hobby budget.

Translation is included in every letter and call, the interface is simple, and the gift delivery service does reach real addresses in Chinese cities. For that man, $273 a month for company and correspondence is a decision he is entitled to make with his eyes open.

For that reason, if you set a hard credit budget before you start and treat the balance as money already spent, the site behaves predictably. Most of the horror stories in this niche come from men who never set that number.

Anyone whose goal is to meet someone and stop paying should start somewhere else.
